This policy explains how Feet Meet handles information used for membership applications, account access and contact requests.

Information you provide
When you apply, we collect your username, name, email address, favorite sauce, preferred match shoe size, and confirmation that you are at least 18. We also retain your application date, approval status and related administrator-review records. We do not ask for your birth date or payment details in this registration form.
After approval, your chosen password is stored as a password hash. Contact requests include the name, email address, request category and message you submit.
How we use your information
- Review applications and administer accounts.
- Send approval and password-recovery emails.
- Allow login and show your saved preferences.
- Respond to support, privacy and community-safety requests.
- Protect forms and accounts against spam and misuse.
Applications are reviewed by site administrators.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies to check browser cookie support and keep you signed in. Choosing “Remember Me” extends your sign-in session. Login language and administrator display preferences can also use cookies. You can clear cookies or block them in your browser; blocking login cookies prevents account access.
Security, hosting and email
Requests pass through the site’s hosting and security systems. These systems may record IP addresses, request times, browser details and requested addresses for operation, troubleshooting and security. Registration and contact forms use a temporary hashed IP-based counter to limit repeated submissions; the counter expires after its short rate-limit window.
Account data is stored in the site’s database. Hosting, backup, security and configured email services may process information needed to operate the site. Approval emails include account-setup information; contact messages are emailed to the site administrator. Email logs and backups may retain copies according to the operator’s configuration.
Retention and account requests
Account records, including pending or rejected applications, remain until the administrator deletes them. Rejecting or revoking an account blocks access but does not automatically erase the record. Password changes and access revocation invalidate affected login sessions. Contact messages may remain in the administrator’s mailbox, and backups may retain earlier copies until those backups expire.
To request access to your information, correct your details or ask for account deletion, please contact the site administrator and choose “Privacy / data request.” We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on a request. Explain whether you want a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion.
Adults only
Membership is intended for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact the site administrator so the administrator can investigate and remove the account where appropriate.
Other services and changes
External links have their own privacy practices. If this site adds features, analytics, advertising or additional services that change data use, this policy will need to be updated. You can contact the administrator for information about the hosting, security and email services currently used by the site.
